As the amorous inscription on the record above indicates, ol' Eddie might not have been much at spelling, but he certainly knew his stuff when it came to kickass instrumentals.
I also dig the vocal side in a slightly hokey b-movie theme song sort of way.

Wow, this is some great shit from Wisconsin! Sauk City is right up by Devil's Lake (hades, hmm?) and Dr Evermore's sculpture park. This is a really great 45! 'Down Bound Train' sounds influenced by the likes of Jimmy Dean... In fact it is heavily derivitave of 'Walk On, Boy', but that's OK, because both songs rule! 'Hades' has a slow surf meets The Champs kind of sound. keep 'em coming.....
